We are restarting the practice of periodically hosting new parishioners at the Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfasts starting February 2, 2025. If you joined Saint Thomas following COVID and would like to meet fellow Parishioners and be our guest for breakfast, please sign up using the button below or the QR Code above. Please include all your family who will attend when completing your reservation!
Only our new parishioners need to make a reservation, but we look forward to seeing all our parishioners. See you there!
Did you know that we have our very own Stations of the Saints trail in our own backyard? It’s been there since 2017, thanks to the creative efforts of many parishioners, and it’s waiting for you to enjoy. There is a simple compendium of information and prayers on the 17 saints depicted and available to guide you, available in the parish office. No appointment is necessary. The guide is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Check it out during office hours.
New Saturday Dates for Feeding the Homeless at KARM
If you have seen announcements about the opportunity to join the 35 or so parishioners who serve the homeless at the Bridge Ministry and KARM but haven’t volunteered because the Sunday dates don’t work for you, good news! We have now added the first SATURDAY of each month from 11 AM-1 PM as service dates in the KARM cafeteria. A team of 7-10 volunteers from the parish work together to serve about 200-250 homeless that are served by KARM every day. Minimal training is needed and is provided. You can choose when you volunteer and are not obligated to a specific schedule. This is a great opportunity to help feed the hungry, as Jesus told us, and meet other Saint Thomas members. You can volunteer using the sign-up button below or by contacting Peg Lord at shplord@aol.com or (303) 621-6996 or Warren Hunt at warrenhunt0820@gmail.com or (724) 759-0211.
Whether you’re recently widowed, or it’s been a while, you have a place with us! We are a special group of ladies who truly understand the journey you’re on and we provide encouragement and companionship. This month, we will welcome 2025 - A New Beginning! We will assess where we are in our grief journeys, and plan where we’re headed in the New Year!
Please think of topics you’d like to discuss and speaker presentations you’d like to hear at our upcoming meetings, as well as what social activities you’re interested in planning/attending. We will meet in the PFLC on Tuesday, January 28 from 1:00-2:30 PM.
Please join us! Each month we address matters of interest to our members. We plan church activities, social gatherings, volunteer opportunities, etc. For more information contact Angela Wichlinski at 865-567-6002.
